If Bible was edited by evil to mock and confuse us can someone while time travelling have double edited the Bible so we are all confused ( bad and good) at the same time?

It's not even hard to guess when the changes took place. My step-great-grandmother had a huge rarity - Bible, the Old Testament. The book was almost as small as the palm of hand, with a gold spine and a decorative metal clasp across the opening of the book. The book was so old that the pages almost fell apart in hand. I had to turn the leaves very carefully. And indeed the texts were completely different from what they are today. And it was definitely not a translation. Many passages have been altered and many had been added to it.
