I can smell cigarette smoke, but I'm not a smoker and I can't smell any smoke from outside the window. From the hallway where the lights are off?
Someone clogged the water drains downstairs, it stopped draining completely and during the day was water outflow OK.

Just as I answered you, I heard a stamping sound coming down the staircase from upstairs to down and the water started to drain out of nowhere.
Waste pipes for water, not for the toilet. Toilet is not clogged here, only pipes for water from bathroom. I checked it, it was dismantled.
It's clogged down there down in house. I assume it's with some kind of rag. In the summer I heard her talking about it in the garden, she knows where.
I hear her running down the stairs to the basement and that determines whether the water drain is OK or not.
