Donald Trump did not keep his salary his first term as president. He is not going to keep his salary during the second term as president. He didn’t accept the pension and he won’t again.

Nobody has done that, except maybe George Washington.

And he is 100% correct. He gets no credit for that and he should get a lot of credit for that. It speaks volumes about his intentions and the reason why he wants to be president. In an era where public service is a money making machine, Donald Trump shows once again why he’s the exception.
