A Danish family made the news in the US for doing it... it was a long time ago. I heard about it because I did some training and the course leader used it as an example of values and social behaviour and how in one place something is normal but another it could be considered criminally negligent.

A good example of cultural differences. I pray that no harm came to the Danish child that was left unattended while in the US. We should be so blessed to live in a world with virtually no crime. It's hard to imagine.
