My Dad & Son are both firefighters. Those fires can't be put out, they have to burn out themselves. They're trying to come up with something like a mobile shipping container that can be hauled to the scene to put the car in to stop the fire.
It is utterly crazy how lithium batteries are so dangerous. There are so many ordinary products that use them.
