This mother just had her world destroyed by a landslide during Helene, and this deputy failed miserably with his approach.

He looks as slow as three Christmas’s, obviously mentally ill equipped to deal with intensity (which I use very loosely here), so I’m really not sure why he has a badge.

We do not know all the circumstances of why he is there, but I do not think he is a zombie. It seems to me he knows he is being filmed, he probably knows this is going to go viral and I bet he was trained to respond slow and in the manner he did because if there is some legal situation behind whatever is going on here, then they do not want to have a situation in court where the focus is on the interaction here rather than whatever the details that brought him out there to begin with. He is a young person and seems well trained to me compared to other situations we have seen on social media. Just MHO.
