Well guess who has this one right now? This is how I know D. Trump was not joking when he requested that from M. Johnson.
Typically, the change to a government-affiliated check mark occurs once an individual takes office. This follows the protocol where the verification reflects current office status not a future position that has yet to take place. So this could mean A LOT at this time folks. Something is brewing.💥

I verified the claim of the gray checkmark myself and even compared it to other accounts and it is designated only for those serving in government, which Trump is not currently doing and so I do find this interesting which brings me to another item pertaining to the Brunson case which is now claiming that SCOTUS has not necessarily dismissed it as we have been made to believe.

But beware as this may very well be fake news as I have not found anything to corroborate the claims of this item though I find it interesting that the Brunson case was once more brought to attention roughly two weeks before the check mark on Trump's X account turned gray. Whether there is any connection between this item and the gray checkmark remains to be seen.
