I cannot afford to buy alot of meat and groceries for my family. Single mom (father of my youngest is with the Lord and father of oldest lives far away and we don’t hear form him much.

So I work a lot and pay everything by myself of course. But when I do buy meat here and there I try to buy the organic and as less processed and tainted as possible. Typical meal when I have the time to cook - 2 packs of organic chicken breast, organic rice and veggies…

So today I’m at our local grocery store and I’m about to cry bc i promised the kids I cook my signature organic chicken dish and im just standing here shocked .

Last time I did this it was $12.00 a pack now we’re up to $23.00 a pack! This is insane. I can’t justify spending this much. I’ll just get one pack and I’m going to have to start fasting and just cooking it for them. Or ill eat rice. Im ok with that but this is not the point.
