Despite the pagan aspect of it, I enjoy decorating for Christmas. I like to think of it as celebrating the passing of another year, and anticipating the next. I enjoy the prep, cooking, decorating and seeing folk enjoy the results.

Jesus was not born in December, so I do not view it as celebrating that, and I do not belong to any religion, so, it is a purely non religious event, just an end of the year celebration for me.

The omnipotent, omnipresent does not need celebrating - it just needs our attention - I give it attention while doing the prep, and enjoying the end result. 😊
