the mRNA from pfizer and moderna is different from the astrazeneca. basically the mRNA m=messenger sends a recipe to your cell to make a similar spike protein. clise wnough to the covid protein that when your immune systems sees the actual covid spike protein it already has the antibodies for it. we use the mRNA all the time in administration of immune therapy in cancer patients. its only experimental in the administration of a vaccine
