Going to keep reminding of this. We need to keep religion and governance separate.

The United States is NOT a religious endeavor and we do NOT rule or govern with religion. The repeated mention of the creator and God in the few places it is mentioned in the founding articles do not make us a "Christian Nation" either.

Neither of those titles mentioned are specific and deliberately left ambiguous and open to each citizen's personal interpretation in whatever they feel is their creator or God.

It merely makes clear that we have natural rights and sovereignty bestowed upon us all above the control of government and its agencies, while not singling out any particular religious belief, practice, or sect.

OK with combining the state with the church? That is blowing a hole in the bow of the ship. And against the law literally.

The idea of religion intertwined with government can mean different things to different people.
Requires a deeper conversation, imho. Let's just take one example of what's occuring recently in some schools. The 10 commandments being posted. Should this be considered religious considering where it originated? Who decides? Government? Parents?

It abrogates the constitution is why. The destruction of the Constitution is what brought this all to a head and all of us together here. Just like cramming the word and term democracy into everything, we are not one and never have been one.
So then which denomination should rule? It will only cause problems and why the forefathers penned our founding article clearly separating the two, how do you think the Catholic Church rose to such heights that it ruled your personal life?
