I have only been to switzerland via a cable car from the top of Mount Blanc in Chamonix. Funny thing or dangerous thing was, I had altitude sickness at the top of the mountain, where the skiiers were. And yet somehow my mom talked me onto a tiny cable car even higher up. I didn't know Altitude sickness was a thing at the time, only learned years later what it was, but I was so sick feeling, worst I ever felt. But yet I did it! All the way from France to Switzerland and back! lol My mom was a go-getter and always introducing new things to her kids to expand their horizon.

Altitude sickness is the “real deal” and scary…….saw a family member pass out on the cog train from Zermatt to the top of the Gornergrat! My husband and I have been there many, many times, hiked the hills and forests and mountain trails and never get tired of the incredible beauty at every turn!
