Yes, he did move it to the Treasury, but that didn't kill it. We are still in a debt based currency system, not a wealth based one. I look in my wallet and the dollars still say federal reserve note, which is noting more than an I owe you. What does the Federal Reserve owe us if the note is backed by nothing? As our Constitution states: Gold and Silver are money, everything else is credit. If we end the Federal Reserve we won't have to worry about J Powell's job or the paper ponzi scheme he represents.
I agree, and I believe that is why EVERYONE has purchased precious metals ... when will the fiat petro dollar end ? soon I suspect.
