Lydia, I am VERY thankful that I was born in the 60s! Growing up, from the age of 11 until 14, I WISHED I was a boy!! I WANTED to be a boy!! I HATED dolls, HATED dresses and frilly clothes and didn't like most of the things my girl classmates liked. I loved tearing down engines, driving the D4 cat in the fields, fixing fences, helping with the cattle, riding my dirt bike etc... TOTAL TOMBOY!
HAD I BEEN born in today's world, growing up in the indoctrination they force on kids, it's quite possible my wish would have become a reality. I'm sure glad Trump is going to put a stop to all this nonsense because it really was a phase I went threw and realized that as I got older. For some kids today it will be too late for that realization. 😔
The new technologies will hopefully be able to
reverse the physical and genetic damage done to these children. It seems the sky is not the limit!
My childhood was in the 50's. There were tomboys then too but they all got through that phase and like you, found their way. But the skills you learned stayed with you a lifetime. It's
all good, Patriot Mel.
