The Shasta County Elections Office is addressing a significant issue with the scanning of returned ballots, as many are not being registered by the tabulator. County Clerk and Registrar of Voters Tom Toller held a morning news conference to discuss the problem and his proposed solution.

"Look at these copies of ballots. To the naked eye, the bar codes appear identical," Toller said. However, due to the combination of ballots printed by Runbeck Election Services and Hart InterCivic tabulators, many ballots are not registering. Toller noted that a batch of 50 ballots experienced a 32 percent failure rate. https://krcrtv.com/news/local/shasta-county-faces-ballot-scanning-issues-vows-accuracy-over-speed#

This technology has been around for over 40 years. I remember taking tests that use the bubble scanners when I was in school. That they are acting like this is a system that takes more than the intellect of a monkey to use is the ultimate in dumbassery. I seriously cannot believe that anyone, anywhere is falling for any of this shit.
