My chickens were like that -- when I got home from work, I'd open the lanai door, and they'd come running 💖. Miss Buttercup (the big mama chicken, head of the pecking order) was first in line to be picked uo and hugged, and she'd wrap her neck around mine 🤗. She did NOT like me picking up the others 😄.
