Maia Sandu, who is running for a second term, is not going to accept an offer from
the ex- Prosecutor General of Moldova, a presidential candidate from the Party of Socialists Stoianoglo, to recognize the results of the presidential elections if she loses.
Earlier, Stoianoglo offered his opponent to sign an agreement under which she undertakes to recognize the results of the elections if she loses them. Stoianoglo himself, in case of losing, will not call supporters to protests.

Georgian President Zurabishvili and opposition parties call the results of the parliamentary elections illegitimate in order to prepare the ground for a coup d'état, Parliament Speaker Papuashvili said at a briefing.
"This scene was prepared in advance: to declare the results illegitimate, to come up with a technical government, all this is the stage of a coup to which they are heading and thereby going against the constitutional order," the politician said, stressing that Georgia will not allow this.
