Today is always a great day to stock up on food, water, supplies, in case of an Emergency.
Stay stocked up to 30 days worth if you can. Rotate stocks.
Canned & dry non-perishable food (doesn't have to be expensive, think pasta, rice, beans).
Bottled water (not Nestle!). Maybe a camping water filter.
Pet food, meds, whatever you think you need.
Fill those propane BBQ bottles to cook & boil.
Maybe a power generator (always run outside, use heavy extension cords) to keep fridge cold. Run in hour increments to conserve.
Flashlights, batteries (solar landscape lights work)
Spare fuel for generator and vehicle, safely, properly stored.
Camping gear? Keep handy in case of evacuation. (Perhaps presort your small most valuables you might want to take with in a hurry.)
Some cash. Your preferred personal self-defense.
Maybe a CB or Ham Radio. (CBs at your local truckstop, about $300)
Download Signal App.
Have a PLAN to get loved ones together, fast.
Be prepared, NOT scared.

Hubby and I solidified plans for location to meet with adult daughter & her family yesterday in case of loss of communication capabilities. Pantry is stocked, cars are filled. just a few more details to attend to. I FEEL ready but who knows?

For Humanity's Liberation & 'till every Child is rescued & out of harm's way. 2 ancestors fought under General Washington. Trump! MAGA!

Good job! 👍 Outstanding!

Make sure to have 1 -2 spare 5 gallons of fuel for your vehicle, safely stored. Just in case. For a 25 MPG car that's 250 miles! Safety can be just a few miles away, too, but can't get there on an empty fuel tank! Or in case someone needs pickup to get to your place. Those receiver-hitch racks are good carriers, BTW.

Now is a real good time not to take anything for granted, like Gas Stations, and everyone should do their best to try be as prepared and as self-sufficient as possible just in case of emergency.

Then you can help others!
