I love animals. They taste delicious if prepared properly. Make no mistake I am an old world farmer and grew up in a very small Ozark town in the 70's. I have personally raised, butchered, and eaten more animals I personally raised myself then most will maybe even eat in a life time. I do NOT harm or stress my animals and a real farmer knows how to dispatch anything near instantly without suffering. I can walk into a small herd and take down the intended animal for consumption and not even stir the others.
Real practitioners of old world animal husbandry learn this through a lifetime of practice. I am totally against inhumane treatment of any animals, but we must consume meat or we perish.

These are facts of life, whether anyone likes it or not.

We need people like you to take our homeschoolers to, so they can learn!

I grew up on a farm / steer ranch.

Looking back it was an education.

I even personally helped my dad cut timber on our property, load and haul it all to the mill ourselves, came back for the cut/cured lumber from that, and personally as the oldest boy helped my dad build the house I grew up in. We heated with wood my whole life, I have dug wells, I have harvested wild game and fish and still do so. I grew up in a tiny place that was 40 years lost in history, it had a population of just over 500.
I have been spanked by members of my community who were not my parents and got it worse from my dad a second time the same day because I had to be spanked by a neighbor for my wild behavior. No phone, cable TV, or even air conditioning in Arkansas. Every child should be raised living hand to mouth I believe, then you never forget how to do it yourself. I agree %100.

At 57 I can still literally sleep on the open ground with a sleeping bag and no pad. No, this is not a lie or a story. My nightly bed pad is hard as a rock, on the fucking floor with 3" of pad...seriously.
It makes my back/body stay so limber and I do not know why/how this works it just does. I sleep on mush I get spine/shoulder/joint troubles from it.
I am famous in construction for being able to sleep very soundly right directly on the concrete floor for lunch...I do not eat lunch so I nap since I am not allowed to work alone/solo usually. I get in trouble for not stopping according to OSHA and safety policy standards.
