IMHO, there have been bodies discovered that will never be identified, because they washed up out of human trafficking tunnels and dumbs. Sad as it is for the loss of so many known lives, it is a small fraction of what they would have been if Hellery had won 2016. Come at me all you want or feel you have to. But nothing else makes any sense to me at this point. These haarpicanes were supposed to be WAY stronger too by the way.

Idk what the situation is in the different areas, but the fact there is such a discrepancy in the reporting (people on the ground says hundreds or thousands of bodies and government reports only a couple hundred) suggests something else is going on. If the schools have gone through their list of enrolled children and the local government has gone through their lists of the people they have records on and there are still lots of extra bodies then that is a clue. It is not clear who is responsible for mitigating that discrepancy, but the media cannot report on something it does not have access to (whether that be numbers found or physical bodies missing). Perhaps looking at records for health services might help some as well as looking at benefit enrollment in the area.
