Brings to mind how some versions of the Bible say, the knowing the Truth will 'set you Free',
but the verses that make more sense are:
“And ye shall *know the truth, and the truth shall *make you free.”
"If the Son therefore shall *make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
Setting someone free doesn't guarantee they won't be caught again (like u stated and get in even deeper (delusion posed as Truth), but "make your free" by GOD Himself, gives people a Holy Spirit heads up, 'knowing' what to watch out for ~ the snares of the evil/wicked ones.
There's earthly truth, but that doesn't 'make us free' only God can do that.
