I was delighted to hear that Elon Musk announced a new Telsa pickup truck recently that starts at $8,000 (plus an impending $7,000 car). The feature of the vehicle sound spot on. He also announced this week, the new Tesla cell phone that starts at $99 and connects to Starlink and uses Linux. He is the ultimate agent of disruption - hopefully in the best way.
But my sister is the administrator for a successful physician/entrepreneur who recently purchased a Tesla auto. She says Tesla's customer service is abysmal. And the car comes with a non-negotiable interior camera that records the driver 24 x 7. Her boss tried to tape over the camera. The car would no longer start. Who would buy this?
Disappointing.
Not sure what to think.
