Our County Sheriffs are the highest Elected Official of each of our Counties, and Feds must ask their permission first before operating within their Counties.

It is the Sheriffs Duty and Honor to protect the lives of their County constituents and to literally shield their constituents from the attacks of criminals.

County Sheriffs absolutely possess the power to Deputize as many people they see fit to deal with any matters of Law Enforcement within their County, including disasters or emergencies.

Now imagine how different things would have been during COVID if County Sheriffs had Deputized their Constituents (including business owners) to arrest any corrupt public officials attempting to close what THEY deemed to be "non-essential" businesses, when all businesses are in fact essential to the business owners?
