Is there any support in Florida for hurricane victims? (I’m in Canada & have limited knowledge for what’s going on down there.)
My sister in law in St. Pete’s had her residence flooded & was deemed uninhabitable.
I know there are other areas/states in the same situation - if not worse but we’re all looking out for everyone.
She checked for hotels - some rates are at $300 - $400 a night! WTF?!
Any info is appreciated.
Update - My sister in law & fam are going north to stay with relatives.
With hurricane Milton on the horizon, they are evacuating & not taking chances.
They had belongings stolen while they were outside drying.
Whatever they salvaged went into storage.
This shit is getting crazy!

I haven’t seen much because so many are focused on NC. Maybe she could contact some pastors in her area. If their church cannot provide help, maybe they can direct her to the right place. 🙏
