Not correcting, just adding to your information. If the area where the arrest is needed has a fire dept. Ask if they have the authority to arrest, and if they do, have them arrest the Sheriff there that is preventing prople from helping.

I agree. My Dad is a Fire Chief and he's never heard of such a thing as one of them having arresting powers. Absolutely a power thing there!
