🚨Here is one of the ports of Houston that is just freaking empty.
I’ve never seen it like this ever. This was a full on plan to empty this facility it takes weeks to complete to state it’s in right now.
This is not about the contract of the longshoremen 100%
They are using it as a decoy of what’s really happening with these ports.
This is real and it’s awesome how it’s being handled for the public.

This strike was known for months in advance when negotiations broke down. Railroads and truckers were aware that there would be no product to be moved and plans were made in advance to avoid mass confusion. Clearing out the ports was required to make room for the eventual flood of product when the strike is over and ships are unloaded en mass. US and American ports both still eist today and they are owned by a Port Authority but controlled usually by the Coast Guard. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and this is one of those times.
