-Bodies lying everywhere.
-Uncountable number of bodies trapped in cars.
-THOUSANDS still missing.
-NO Federal Aid
-Media has been CRIMINALLY Silent.
-Death Toll from Katrina about 1,600. This will be WAY past that.
Questioning everything led to my progressive awakening. Still learning daily. A new me, The Real Me is emerging. Strange, but I like her.
I’m in WNC and I haven’t heard about people trapped in their cars but have definitely heard about many being trapped in their homes. So far 40 officially reported deaths but I agree that there will probably be thousands more. Whole areas and towns gone. So many areas and towns devastated. It’s truly horrific.
On a brighter note, the best of humanity can be seen here with people coming together and helping their neighbors and strangers.
Prayers are needed of course, but most importantly the rebuilding must be in humble surrender to God almighty. With His blessings only, we rebuild and give Him the glory.
