Fucking ridiculous. Tennesseans needing rescuing and 700 members of the TNG is being sent on a PR deployment. The 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment is headquartered in Knoxville, & is the largest unit in Tennessee.

As a part of U.S. Central Command, the Tennessee Soldiers will assist maintaining a military posture in the region, help strengthen defense relationships, and serve as an enhanced force throughout the area."

They should be deploying an hour or two down the road where the TN/NC border is WASHING AWAY.
