Had a classmate in High School who was a beautiful & talented young country singer & dance performer, who had an absolutely incredible singing voice. She went out to Nashville to audition and pursue her dreams, came back and totally gave up cold turkey on her aspirations for a career in country music. I asked her what in the heck happened? She confided that she gave up on her dreams after finding out that she would have to sleep with producers and other people in the industry to get anywhere, She absolutely refused to do it.
I got sick to my stomach for her.
Thank God she held on to her integrity, to the sanctity of her body & most of all to her soul, but to do that she had to give up on her dreams.
What a terrible loss for her and for the world. We never got to hear her sing country music.
Hopefully soon, when all this EVIL is wiped from the Earth, this will never happen to anyone again.
There are 'real' men who would have taken care of these type problems encountered by women. Problem has always been the injustice system protecting these maggots.
