Ardis also found a Harvard study showing that nicotine is not the substance in cigarettes that causes addiction. It is caused by chemicals added to the tobacco. Ardis said that nicotine is naturally occurring in tomatoes, celery, and other common vegetables.

On a separate note, I wish La Quinta showed a control experiment with adding water to the dried dental anesthetic to see if it similarly dissolved the crystal formations. Many substances can form crystals when they dry; though multiple, exactly square, similarly sized crystals does seem unnatural.
