Interesting to watch how the dog goes from normal daily walk to nonchalant to interested to focused to alert to poised to full action; all without a single glance at his handler or any tension on the leash.
Between the intensity of voice and the smell of emotions, they accurately read situation.

Did not train them to do it either.
I had a dobbie years back who dove under a parked car in the West Villiage NYC.
Some guy was hiding under that car.
My dog bit his fingers and he took off.
You never saw someone who scrambled up to their feet and run like a bat out of hell. Lol 😅
