I’m grateful for these operations for every person that they rescue who has been trafficked. But they just keep taking these offenders, slapping them on the wrist and letting them right back out into society.
Some do get leniency for whatever the reason, but from all that I read happening around the country, heavier sentences are becoming the norm. There has to be a fear of the consequences to bad behavior. The courts can no longer be viewed as a 'joke' by neglecting it's duty to society, especially the victims of abuse.
