There have been some uncommon events around here the last couple of weeks, strange criminal cases developing from non local… 🤔 how can I say it…young men. Anyway, I have been told by my husband & now my sister in law I need to be carrying when I’m outside, & my brother-in-law caught me in the pasture today & told me to start packing. Trouble is, I’m not proficient & even less, I’m not even remotely practiced. What good does it do for me to carry a pistol when I am not comfortable doing so? And my hands are so weak, I’m terrified of dropping the darn thing and that’s likely to not end well. I am dropping things all the time, especially if I’ve worked my hands too much. I don’t even get upset breaking glass anymore…it happens. And more often than I care to dwell on.

I would like to be practiced…but none of them will take me to the range & work with me. I just don’t think without some substantial time spent practicing that it is a good idea.

Go to a local range and ask for someone to help you get started practicing. I'm sure they'd like you to spend money there and I've found them usually helpful.
