In 1987 Nygard built a 14k square-metre (150k sq ft) compound
at Lyford Cay, Bahamas. Known as Nygard Bay.

with cash payments & false promises

I believe Nygard was up there for being one of the worst
& was trialed under a military tribunal.

featured massive cauldrons that came to life blazing with flames.
