This is precisely one of the reasons why there are wars - the killing of men who would be able to protect their families and their native land - they are pitted against bio-robots who don't care about anything, including their artificial life. And corporations could produce as many such biorobots as they wanted in their biolaboratories. It's been going on for millennia and people think it's just fairy tales or conspiracies.

Corporate machines and administration reformed a broken earth and took it over with "law" and we're now for countless generations genetically modified and "pruned" to make more compliant less resistant chattel and we're continually farmed through that.
