I do not agree with jail time for burning a flag. I don't agree with jail time for any self expression that doesn't cause harm to other persons or property.

We share very few sentiments with our government.

I may not support someone's flag-burning statement, I support their right to do so (unless it's contributing to a riot, etc)

Throwing someone in jail for doing so is a little too Deep State for my taste.

How about we throw some Epstein Island visitors in jail? I'm all for that.

Exactly.

When it comes to burning the flag or anything that could be considered offensive and highly insensitive to many people, it should be done away from public view, similar to laws that prohibit certain behavior around school zones.
I beleive it's important that we make bad behavior as uncool and unacceptable as we possibly can, and reduce the amount of agitation in public by the bad apples of society. I can list a bunch of behaviors that don't physically harm anyone, but if they were done in public, would have severe consequences for the 'agitator'.
