On Israel people may not be specific enough and they may actually be trying to say the same thing.
Where are the descendants of Jacob/Israel verses the modern state of Israel?
Does it depend on those that follow the Talmud?

I'm American, ancestors supposedly from Northern and Southern Europe.
Actually, my father's surname belies that, but it's a matter of who believes what.
So anyway, where are the descendants of Jacob/Israel? And what religion do they follow now?
I wonder what religion my ancestors followed?
Roman, Greek or Norsk gods, Druids or some religion which has been lost to antiquity or no religion?
This is what matters to me:
Good is good and evil is evil.
Aren't both found everywhere?
It will be nice if we get to that promised place where there is no evil.
