My 11yr. old wanted to stay up late (ET) to listen with me, and I told her that her sleep was more important. She didn't protest at all, but said, "Dad, is this more boring stuff Trump always talks about at his rallies?".
Me: "It's only boring for those who already know, Punkin."
Her: "Tell me he says the words, okay?"
