If people truly think they will not take your property or put liens and start lawfare as the wealth transfer rolls on then you are naive. They have tried not legal ways to get property for years, look at all the mortgage fraud cases in court and all the foreclosures in the paper, and unless I missed something, the legal system has not changed yet on these issues so they will pursue legal methods as long as they are there. If one has the resources and wants to fight them, great, but most people are not in that position.
