So it's a southern thing to stock up on canned goods from the garden in the cellar.
My mom brought this southern teaching to the west coast when she moved there in 1950.
We had enough food to feed the sprawled out neighborhood.
I thought it was from the depression era. 😊
If you live long enough you might learn something.
