Japan developed the atomic bomb. It successfully tested an atomic bomb during World War II.
Atomic bombs that cannot be loaded onto bombers
During World War II, it was not possible to manufacture atomic bombs large enough to be loaded onto bombers such as the B29. The atomic bombs that are being touted on the streets are fiction.
Einstein's letter to President Roosevelt: "It is quite conceivable, though not by any means certain, that a new type of extremely powerful bomb will be constructed. If a single bomb of this type were to be brought in a boat and exploded in a harbor, it would destroy not only the entire harbor, but the surrounding area as well. But the bomb would prove too heavy for transportation by aeroplane."
