Like so many things, we are told Marjorie Post had it built. Out of curiosity, I researched it and you cannot find an early building photo from the groundup, only one with it already built and scaffolding around it, which they've done with many Tartarian buildings that were reoccupied.
Tampa University is also one. Granted Mar a Lago doesn't have Minaret turrets, but the architecture is definitely old world.
