Hello AU.....Just an upate on the Hurricane Beryl aftermath. We are still without power. Today it will be 91° w/ 66% humidity. Very sticky and uncomfortable for all. A lot of trees and fences down and minor building damage. Unless, of course, a tree fell on your house. Thus far, insurance companies are denying a lot of claims. If you had not replaced your roof or fence in the last 10-15 yrs, the claim is being denied. There will be A LOT of suing going on down here. The company responsible for the transmission lines is getting it from all sides. No prep for this storm in the Houston area. They had sent the out of state help to Corpus Christi because that's all we heard for a week prior to landfall. Luckily, there are restaurants on my street that are open. Unluckily, I have to throw away everything in my fridge and start over. This is the 2nd time they've been off course on a Hurricane's path. The first was Harvey. Thankfully we didn't get hit like that again! Cheers!
