HONOLULU –Senior US District Judge Susan O. Mollway sentenced Alden Bunag, 35, of Honolulu, yesterday to 210 months in prison and 15 years of supervised release for production of child pornography.

According to ... from around 2017-18, when Bunag was middle school teacher ... he engaged in repeated sexual activity with a 13-year-old student. Bunag recorded the sexual activity on multiple occasions, which took place in his classroom. He later sent the video(s) to others, including a teacher in PA, who was also prosecuted ... Bunag also possessed thousands of images of child pornography... including young male children being sexually assaulted while bound and in pain...
