This is the bottom of my distiller. I took the water from my Brita Water Pitcher to distill water. This is the first time I can see Black residue (graphene oxide?) in our water.
I have to pay for this??????

Our#SteamDistilledWater maker just failed after 12 years every day use. Manufacturer asked us to send them pic of inside bottom unit, and here it is… nothing black except where stainless steel failed - we use vinegar to clean.

The lemon juice makes the inside clean to where it looks brand new after every use. If you get another one, try that.

I use lemon juice in water and the stainless steel cleans to perfection.
