A Vietnamese guy once told me he was appalled at how we treat the elderly. It seems to me there's an unwillingness for some people to make sacrifices for their own parents or spouses parents.
I can certainly testify to this. Now that I'm considered a "Senior"; I've experienced this more than I could ever have imagined! i.e.: I don't believe a phone call for Mother's day a 'sacrifice' for anyone to make. IMHO, it's totally out of RESPECT. But then, I'm not sure RESPECT is even a 'thought' in today's world.

We have to change the leadership in this country, and remove the poisonous influences as best we can. Given the decades of bad behavior, it'll be a titanic shift to get this country moving in the right direction. I can feel it happening. If Trump has taught us anything, is to be brave and fearless for the right reasons. Our children's future depends on parents voicing their objections to everything inappropriate, unacceptable, and destructive.
