Kat that's my town. I saw them too. I was driving right behind them as they were turning into the freeway.
One truck said part of a Convoy. But there were at least 5 of them around 12:00 pm. I thought what's going on.
We do have the base very close down South to us. And for months now lots of helicopters flying over us.

What I thought was weird they aren't on the Freeway as they are when I've seen them before as they travel to Port Hueneme and Vanderberg.
Traffic was light so what were they doing on the main street and the picture you posted is a road parallel to the Freeway but only one lane on each side.
