IMO: Socialism leads to both and they are all forms of totalitarianism. If you look at the driving forces behind each you find the same fanatical CB backers.
It's another way to divide and conquer. Same people backed the wars from both sides. By the end of WWII Paton realized we fought the wrong enemy.
