I don't know if I shared this with you....
The flowers this spring are stunning. These are Camas flowers and early settlers heading west in wagon trains mistook them for bodies of water like a lake from the distance.

The Native Americans use the bulbs after flowering in their diet.
They are so beautiful and the yellow fields of canola and the red clovers fields ..... it just is gorgeous.

Beautiful! Where was this taken? I would love to see them in person. I chase wildflowers in AZ & CA. Will post photos, please excuse the quality. I'm just an enthusiast taking photos on my iPhone.
