There was probably a restriction in it as it dehydrates - which in the desert is not a good thing.
Moderation in everything - even moderation.

Well, moderation is the key word.
I like a glass of wine. I think Jesus did too, and he did not seem to mind others having a few glasses either.
Anything done to excess is bad for you...
